A compilation of the past 2 months :)

 Hey Everyone,

 I've been soo overwhelmed the past couple weeks with school work and projects, but thank goodness it will only continue until Friday! I've got graduation Sunday, one more final Tuesday, and then i've officially ended my college career! :) It's amazing how fast the time flies...

  Anyhow, I wanted to update my blog a little seeing that I'm a little behind in my uploading process.


 1.) The first set of photos were taken of my 10 year old sister Aimee.  She was really feeling a photo shoot that day and was practically begging me to photograph her.  Of course, I didn't complain :)
2.) The next set of photos were taken of rising country artist, Blake Wise, at the Caldwell County Fair in Lenoir, NC.  He's an amazing talent and just signed on with Broken Bow Records, same label as Jason Aldean. You guys be keeping your eyes and ears open for him soon!
3.) The next set of pics are shots I took up at the firetower and along the Moses Cone trails.  It was a beautiful day and I love the aerial view of Boone :)   
4. The final shot is of my best friends daughter, Greylyn. I was babysitting her that day and I got this awesome candid shot of her. She's so adorable, how can you NOT love this picture?

Beauty is often hidden

 I'm attracted to the simplest things and even the tiniest something that you could very well pass on the street can be beautiful. A while back I was on a photo assignment up at the Broyhill Inn and Conference Center taking pictures of Appalachian's wind turbine.  After I had finished, I took some time to just walk around the Broyhill and saw some beautiful flowers outside Broyhill's main entrance.  From a distance, they just looked like ordinary flowers, but up close they were absolutely breathtaking.  I was very pleased with this picture and it's one of my favorite's to date. The photograph is also shown as taken. No photo editing was made.

It's that time of the year again. The air is crisp, the leaves are changing, and the mountains welcome Autumn's arrival.  I was fortunate to have a day off work, so I went to the Blue Ridge Parkway and took some photos. Boone never looked so beautiful.

Field of Sisters

These photographs were taken in a field located in my hometown of Waxhaw, NC.  My lighting was awesome, scenery was just right, and my sisters were cooperating.(lol) All and all the shoot turned out great, and an excellent addition to my portfolio.

Summertime in Boone 2009

This is my very first blog and i'm soo excited to get this page up and running! This was my first summer in Boone and it was everything i'd heard and more.  Here are some photos I took along the Moses Cone trails on the Blue Ridge Parkway. It's absolutely gorgeous there and such a nice walk if you're up for hiking.
